Strive to build trust around yourself. Today, people don't trust their governments, the media, nonprofits, and public organizations. The hard truth is that no one but you can help fix it. We attempted to do this before and failed: we were distracted by the classic managerial focus on today's results instead of thinking about the long-term. We got too carried away with the utopian idea of not offending anyone important, and we drowned in streamlined, sterile thoughts and actions. Trust is not a state of mind or a grace from somewhere. It is the result of an effort that is worth time and ingenuity. Don't expect someone to read your mind or gesture, head turn, or gaze.

Explain yourself and let others explain themselves. The truth can be cruel, but it's better to live facing it, not polishing it, this gives respect and understanding. When we are open to dialogue, we build bridges, not walls. The most difficult conversation can take a lot of energy, but in the end it will bring you to where you are heading to faster than the quietest and most peaceful lies, silences, ignoring yourself and the other.

Choose the people around you. Appreciate the strength of spirit, will, and principles. Create a space of human communication where you can not only fly, but also fall. Your weaknesses and imperfections need an outlet – they are an important part of your character, and in part they create a sensual, dynamic, creative, tireless person who is interesting and interesting.

Trust your feelings. Run away from despondency, boredom, stupidity as quickly as you can. Don't tolerate organized, systemic lies, fight injustice, stay away from cruelty – even if it's not directed at you. No one in the world knows you better than you know yourself. Take care of yourself and your view of the world, do not dive into the endless pursuit of a sonorous position and a glossy illusion of life.

Appreciate diversity of beauty and respect the difference. There are fast and slow, high and short, there are a lot of exciting things outside of heterosexuality, and then there's the urban and the rural. The list is endless. When you have people of different views, backgrounds, and interests on your team, you make decisions that reflect the complex world of color around you much better. Love and curiosity will brighten your life.

Never start a war. When you feel like there's no other way to prove you're right, stop. Talk, listen, negotiate. Repeat this pattern persistently and diligently until you get the result – it will come. Don't let anger and rage flood your beautiful eyes. You're taller and better than that.
